William A. Jenkins, 79, of Ithaca, passed away unexpectedly on January 15, 2024 at his home.
Bill was born on May 4, 1944 in Scranton, PA, son of the late John G. and Betty (Thomas) Jenkins. He attended Penn State and received a Bachelor's in accounting. Bill retired from the accounting department at New York State Electric & Gas, and was a member of NYSEG's 25 Year Club.
He is survived by his sons, Kevin Jenkins, of Freeville NY and Brian (Becky) Jenkins of Bouckville, NY; step-son, Keith (Monica) Rosevear, Seattle WA; his former wife and best friend over 50 years, Barbara Rosevear, of Ithaca NY; sisters, Cheryl (Bob) Leuthe, of Scranton, PA and Marilou Saar, of FL; sister-in-law, Jeanette Jenkins, of Clark Summit, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, John Jenkins.
