Marvin Lee Hallstead

Marvin L. Hallstead, 61, of Groton, formerly from Homer, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday January 15, 2025. 

Marvin was a son of the late Morris and Marion Conway Hallstead. He had been employed by McMahons EZ Acres until his health wouldn't allow him to, and he was predeceased by both of his sons, Cliffard and Brandon, Sr.

Marvin is survived by his companion, "Boots"; his wife, Darlaine; Mike Lynch, his stepson from a previous marriage;
grandchildren: Autumn, August, Jazmine, Kayden, Nevaeh and Brandon, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Alexa Wheeler; brothers: Mike (Judy); Myron (Lesa); and Melvin (LeAnn); sisters: Sherri (Gene) and Sandra (Erick); and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and sons, he was predeceased by a brother, Morris II, and sisters, Sharon and Sheila.

At Marvin's request there will be no services. A celebration of life will be held this summer.
