Margaret (Peggy) Powers

Peggy Powers passed peacefully at Crown Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Cortland, New York on October 23, 2024. She was 87 years old.

Peggy was born in Genoa, New York on October 30, 1936 and lived her entire life in the Genoa area.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 69 years, David; their children; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sisters; and several nieces and nephews. She will forever be in our hearts. 

Peggy enjoyed knitting and scrapbooking family memories. She was a member of both the Genoa and North Lansing Fire Auxiliaries, volunteering her time at pancake breakfasts, election day dinners, and shopping for local families in need at Christmas time.
