Jason R. Ramey

Jason R. Ramey, 49, of Locke, passed away at home unexpectedly on June 12, 2024.

Jason was born November 8, 1974 in Susquehanna, PA. He attended Groton Central School. He worked for many years in the pool construction trades in Florida and construction in New York. Jason enjoyed drawing, joking, kids, fishing, RC cars and VW Beetles. Jason tinkered with all things mechanical, and was especially skilled in auto repair. He loved helping people in need. He also had a love for cats. He was a great cook, seemingly able to always make "something out of nothing."

He is survived by his four children: Kevin, of Syracuse; Tayler, of Florida; Jayden, Jason, Jr., and their mother, Jennifer [Claas] Ramey, all of Florida; his sister, Amanda Cassara, and his brother, Eric Ramey, both of Groton; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as his father, Robert Ramey of PA. He was predeceased by his parents, Debra (Darrow) and Scott Breeds of Groton.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time. There are no calling hours.
