He is survived by his beloved wife Christine, his brother William ( Bill) and his daughters Kimberly and Tracey. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Patrick, a retired Officer in the US Marine Corps.
Edward was a colorful personality who lived his life to the fullest. He and his wife traveled the world and quickly made friends wherever they ventured. He and Christine lived in England and Ireland and spent many happy days in their home in Molise, Italy. Their greatest love, aside from family and friends, was their historic farm, Rokeby, in Leesburg, VA where the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution were stored during the War of 1812. He and Christine shared Rokeby with their dear friend Rocky Robinson and his boys Casey and Riley. They were surrounded by 65 park like acres where horses roamed and rescue dogs played. They treasured being the caretakers of such an important home in American history.
Edward was a passionate and astute collector of art, antiques and automobiles with a keen eye and exquisite taste. He loved to display his special finds to share with family and friends and often opened Rokeby to the public to raise funds for special causes that were important in his life.

Edward retired as a Chief Executive Officer of TAD, Inc. following a successful career in engineering services. In recent years, he encouraged his wife to buy her childhood home, The Benn Conger Inn in Central NY and most recently the Groton Hotel, both run by their nephew Drew Clare.
